Dr. Vardhana Vivek Pawaskar

Research, Surveillance and Membership
Dr. Vardhana Pawaskar is Senior Vice President and Head of Research, Membership and Surveillance Departments at CCIL.
As a Senior Vice President, Dr. Vardhana heads multiple departments including Research, Membership and Surveillance. Vardhana has been with CCIL since 2018. She is responsible for the Research department publications. Dr. Vardhana is also the Principal Officer of the POSH committee of Clearcorp.
Dr. Vardhana has an overall work experience of 25+ years in various teams of interest rate strategy, quant research groups working with fixed income and currency traders in investment banks. She has worked with Morgan Stanley, Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), Nomura and then with BSE before joining CCIL.
She represented BSE in the Niti Ayog Committee for Transforming Gold Markets in India and as Market Surveillance expert at the “Market Surveillance Meet” held by BOVESPA. She was selected for the “W50”, an Executive Education program held at UCLA, USA, a Banco Santander full sponsored program for prospective women directors selected through global nominations.
She has research papers published in referred journals. Dr. Vardhana is a Ph.D. in Financial Economics from Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research, Mumbai.
